Students Kayak Chile Rivers and Waterfalls for the Holidays

After a long semester university student kayaks are thrilled to get on Chile’s best rivers and waterfalls. Daily you’ll be coached on Chile’s best variety of rivers and impressive development features. The trip is divided into two parts: Pucon base leg and a travel leg. While, in Pucon you’ll kayak daily with the comforts of a home base location. Features include big volume runs, waterfalls galore, boofing drops, and skills development on various canyons and rivers.

Your travel leg will explore Chilean rivers to the north such as Rios Nuble and Maipo. As you travel you’ll explore other regions of Chile via your kayak as you meet and interact with the culture.

Does your family want to share the holidays with you? 

Family can join you in Chile for the holidays. While, you’re kayaking rivers daily your family will have daily adventures too. And even paddle along in a raft, inflatable kayak, or kayak for some sections.

Pucon’s menu of soft adventures is remarkable. Horse back ride to vistas of volcanos or pristine lagunas, hike the volcano, rafting or mountain bike riding. After a few adventures we’ll mix in some more relaxing activities like massage or physical therapy, and soaking in the hot springs. Here are some of our favorite activities: climb the via ferrata to vista plateau, hot springs, canyoneering a basalt canyon, “Fire and Ice” (volcano and glacier) hike, wine tasting and traditional Chilean asado, tandem boat tow paragliding, inflatable kayak and rafting, lake tour and beach picnic, horse back riding, and exploring Pucon’s shops and culinary experiences.

What about Christmas?

We’ll have grand feast where traditionally we dress in cheesy Christmas attire from local shops. Got a Santa beard or elf hat? Bring it. Holiday gifts with a twist are exchanged. Oh. And did we mention the highlight… Your family watching you run waterfalls. Happy holidays. Indeed.
