  Centrally located are the original fisherman’s hosteria rooms. Hosteria rooms are just steps away from yard games, river access, dining, and movie/yoga dome. Select a king bed or two single beds. Room includes bathroom with hot/cold shower, desk, French press with coffee or tea, half fridge and microwave. Outside offers a patio with hanging spaces for gear, adirondack chairs,  and picnic table surrounded by a garden full of indigenous flora.

  Geodesic Dome (pp dbl occ)

  Inside the dome you’ll find a double bed, a single bunk, lights, and electrical outlets, small heater, and a futon that can serve as a bed for additional guests. You can actually see the stars from your plush bed, situated under a sky view vinyl window. For those whom prefer privacy and space the dome is a winner with a comfortable bed to boot. This eco-friendly dome tucked in the woods is perfect for a couple or a small group. There is no private bathroom in the dome, so if that’s one of your requirements, you may want to check out our hosteria rooms. Treehouse showers and bathhouse with private locking rooms are nearby.

  Best Suited For:

  • Couples: The sound of the river and the romantic space make for a memorable experience.
  • KIDS LOVE THE DOMES!!  Want to give your kids a camp experience without having to pitch a tent in the rain? Domes are the perfect solution.
  • Small Groups: Often, groups of 3 to 4 choose the domes to save money and pack into one dome.

  Private Dorm (pp dbl occ)

  The private dorm has a double bed with a single bunk above making it ideal for 2 persons or couples whom prefer to save a little money over our other couples spaces. The overhead bunk often is used to toss your extra gear like backpacks and clothes. A cool bonus is the wall to wall mural of local flora and fauna.

  The treehouse dormitorio represents our desire to preserve the native forest. Early in the development of Pucon Kayak Hostel we pushed a shipping container into a strategic location between the forest trees. In order to create new economical lodging for travelers instead of cutting down the indigenous plants and trees  – we preserved our best asset and constructed over, around, and in between the forest. The result is a building that has the benefits of the surrounding forests – cool summer breeze, forest shade, and the feel of the indigenous plants and animals.

  Most young travelers are primarily attracted to an economical price point that gets the job done. In other words a good bed. Additionally, reserving a dorm bed gets nomads access to all PKH property amenities.

  • Treehouse outdoor shower. A hot shower amongst the native flora with elevated protective walls for privacy… heaven.
